River Edge Schools Celebrate "Week of Respect"

"Week Of Respect" was celebrated through out the district.  From October 6 to October 10, students participated in themed lessons, assemblies and peer motivated activities encompassing individuality, respect, and anti-bullying.  Ms. Benevento of Roosevelt School and Mrs. Blake of Cherry Hill School coordinated the week long celebration.

Students in Mrs. Auriemma's Class are using a hands on approach to learning numbers with integrated technology. They are practicing number recognition and formation skills. Math fact fluency is the ability to recall the answers to basic math facts automatically and without hesitation. Fact fluency is gained through significant practice, with mastery of basic math facts being a goal of both teachers and parents.  
to success in many areas of higher mathematics.  Kindergarten is off to a great start!
