Earth Day
Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day events in more than 193 countries are now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network. At Roosevelt School, Ms. Poole's students are getting ready for Earth Day by painting the "Earth" blue for the ocean. The next step will be to add green paint for the land! What a fun activity for Social Studies! Pictured are Finn Sullivan, Dylan Strasser and Victoria Visconti.
